Therapy for Self-Esteem and Confidence
“You're always with yourself, so you might as well enjoy the company.”
―Diane Von Furstenberg
You find yourself in a dark place in which you are self-critical and feel very alone. For reasons you can’t figure out, you severely doubt your abilities. You depend on others to feel good about yourself and deep down you are afraid of being judged by others. You are uncertain if you are worthy of love or respect from others therefore, you protect yourself by keeping yourself small and taking precaution in revealing your authentic self for fears of being rejected. You apologize for everything and often try to please everyone else, while often keeping silence and wishing you could be assertive. Deep inside you find yourself in emotional pain and suffering.
Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do. -Brene Brown
My name is Claudia and I provide therapy to individuals who want to feel better about themselves, reduce feelings of loneliness and improve their self-esteem and confidence. I use a non-judgemental approach and through talk therapy I hear your life experiences, I get to know you, and I help you develop a healthy self-esteem that feels good and authentic to you. With over ten years of experience and ongoing training, I am able to help you heal from past negative experiences, reduce feelings of loneliness, fears of being judged and rejected, and minimize critical self-talk. Through our work together, you will notice an increase in assertiveness, mindfulness, emotion regulation and self-love.
Remember, you have been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens. -Louise Hay
